Advanced Password Manager is a brilliant password management tool that lets you save your usernames & passwords and other important information to your digital vault so that it can auto-fill these details the next time you login to your favorite sites.į.B. Access your accounts with one master password known only to you. You never have to forget your passwords again. We take care of all your passwords so that you can look after more important things in life. With that said - here is a rundown of these seven new Microsoft Edge extensions. At some point this momentum of sliding Edge usage will become a very, very slippery slope. As long as the critical extensions are not available on Edge then users will opt to use other browsers instead. Three of these extensions still appear to be in preview mode as they are not listed on the Microsoft Edge Extension page in the Windows Store while the other four are listed there for easy access.Īs I have said before, this process has to speed up, and just like the challenge of getting popular apps and services into the Windows Store, you have to get the right extensions into the Store for Edge to encourage users to seriously try migrating to the two year old browser. So the library of extensions continues its glacial pace of growth and with these seven new extensions added since June, the total count is up to 47. Well we have now reached that milestone and we are yet to see more than 50 extensions available for Microsoft Edge in the 12 months that feature was introduced as part of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. At that time we were still six weeks away from hitting the the second anniversary of Windows 10's release to the general public. The last time I wrote about extensions for Microsoft Edge was in mid-June.Īt that time five more extensions had made their way into the Windows Store which elevated the total count to 40. However, if you used the same password for other services, we recommend you exercise caution and consider changing your passwords regardless.ĪPI keys: These are of particular note – while they were primarily used for the client to interact with the web service, they could also be used to log in to the website and subsequently access an account, including any uploaded (public and private) puushes. This means your passwords should be safe – bcrypt is a one-way algorithm and you cannot feasibly retrieve the password from a bcrypt hash. Hashed passwords: Passwords were hashed with the industry-standard bcrypt before storage. Depending on your expectation of privacy, this may or may not be a concern for you. They could also make connections between emails and usernames (if set). Usernames & emails: Someone obtaining the leak would be able to determine if a given domain or email address had an associated puush account. Whilst from 2015, the information contained in the leak still consists of potentially sensitive data, such as: usernames, email addresses, hashed passwords (bcrypt) and API keys. We have identified you as an active puush user, so we’re reaching out for two reasons:įirstly, it has come to our attention that somebody is trying to sell data obtained from the breach back in 2015 ( ). Thanks for your continued usage of puush. I'll post the email we have sent out to active users so there's no missing context: If you don’t see the OneDrive sign-in dialog appear once OneDrive has been reinstalled, look in the System Tray at the far right of the desktop Taskbar for the OneDrive icon: note you may have to click the expand ( ˄) icon in the System Tray to display the OneDrive icon.
It is not out of the "qualify" phase for a new ESR. Mozilla Firefox ESR 31.0 is too young to be included in the TBB. This is an example of how the Tor project keeps track of the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox ESR. Part of the release notes for this version is: On August, 12th 2014 Tor Browser 4.0-alpha-1 was released. The main characteristic of these editions is that the new versions come out once a year (more or less), specifically every 10 versions of the main browser. Users who want to get the latest features, performance enhancements and technologies in their browsing experience should download Firefox for personal use, as these improvements will only be available to ESR users several development cycles after being made available in Firefox for desktop. What is Firefox ESR Firefox ESR is one more edition of the Mozilla browser focused on a very specific audience : users who do not want or cannot update every few weeks. The TBB is regularly updated with the latest version of Firefox ESR.Ībout the difference to the "normal" Firefox: Since TBB has the goal to be secure and stable, it uses the ESR version, not the latest and greatest Firefox. Mozilla will offer an Extended Support Release (ESR) based on an official release of Firefox for desktop for use by organizations including schools, universities, businesses and others who need extended support for mass deployments. The Tor Browser Bundle (TBB) uses Mozilla Firefox ESR. Information is arranged neatly on the screen, and it seems like every aspect of the program’s display had a lot of thought put into its design. One of the strong points of Evernote Hello is its gorgeous presentation. After they’ve completed all this, the phone will take their picture and create a new entry in the phone owner’s address book. This bizarre concept involves the phone’s owner giving their iPhone to new contacts and asking them to enter their own contact information into the phone. The Evernote Hello app is different from most other address book applications in that it’s designed to be used by someone other than the iPhone’s owner. While this idea was undoubtedly inspired by the success of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, many potential customers might be wondering at how practical such an application might be. One of the chief ideas that played a role in Evernote Hello’s development was the concept of providing an address book that encouraged social interaction. The new iPhone app from Evernote called Hello aims to help you remember the people you meet. SD 2.0 is supplied with five custom plug–ins including the Five–band EQ, Gate and Compressor shown here.SD 2.0 comprises five main components: the drum sample playback engine itself a 60GB sample library the EZ Player Pro MIDI loop manager and sequencer (including a library of MIDI loops) a bundle of five audio plug–ins and Toontrack Solo, which is designed to allow stand–alone operation of any of Toontrack's drum instruments. SD 2.0 comes hot on the heels of its obvious competitor - BFD2 - so how does Toontrack's latest offering shape up against FXpansion's flagship product? Bundle Of Fun With SD 2.0, Toontrack are attempting to marry the best of both these earlier products - the meticulous sampling and user control found in DFH Superior with a more accessible user–interface based on EZ Drummer. To their credit, Toontrack responded with EZ Drummer, based upon a narrower range of drum sounds than DFH Superior but with a much more user–friendly interface. However, it is probably true to say that some potential users were put off by what was perceived as a somewhat complex user interface. Toontrack's Superior Drummer 2.0 essentially represents a second generation of DFH Superior and, when Paul White reviewed the original release back in March 2005, he was very impressed by the realism of the sound and the extraordinary level of detail in the sampling. Will the drums and cymbals of their new Superior Drummer 2.0 make a greater splash? Toontrack's DFH Superior received excellent reviews but perhaps didn't really make the impact that it deserved.
